Marla Hlady and The Tristanos is a sound performance in collaboration with Eric Chenaux and the band The Tristanos, for the Art Metropole’s Art Metronome. The Tristanos played a range of tunes, mostly ones written by Chenaux but others as well, like Moon River. In order to perform with the musicians, Hlady made small, electronic sound samplers, Soundball #4. Audio playback technology with leds and switches were fitted into a perforated stainless steel ball. When activated, the ball lights up and plays pre recorded sounds.

Soundball #3 was also used in the performance.
