Untitled (Shelf Works) organises paired machines according to such qualities as size, profile, colour. Chosen for their particular gesture, sound and/or machine construction, Hlady stripped down each toy to its noisemaker and basic mechanical parts. Each toy has an in-line switch that viewers are invited to operate.
