Sampler is a series of objects and materials related to Hlady and Migone’s time in a whiskey distillery during the Glenfiddich Residency. Sample bottles, flask, copper, anthracite, earplugs, and more, all behaving oddly. They are assembled in ways that warp their usual role. Some are solo, and others are paired; most are inert, and while one spins, another one sounds. They are absurdist tests that cannot be proven or disproven. They teeter, they unfold, they puzzle.
